Meet the Enriquez Family
FAMILY PICTURE
MY DAD
My father, Eduardo Enriquez, is one of the greatest sources of strength and inspiration in my life. He is currently working abroad, far from the comforts of home, just to make sure that our family is well provided for. I know it’s not easy for him to be away from us, but he never complains. Instead, he stays strong and focused, always reminding us that everything he’s doing is for our future.
Even though we’re miles apart, I still feel his presence through his constant messages, calls, and words of encouragement. He never fails to remind me to stay disciplined, to work hard, and to value the opportunities I have. His sacrifices have taught me the true meaning of love, responsibility, and perseverance.
I miss him every day, but I carry his lessons with me in everything I do. I am beyond proud to call him my father, and I will continue striving to make him proud in return. Everything I achieve will always be a reflection of his hard work and the love he has for our family.
MY MOM
My mother, Dina Enriquez, is the heart of our home. She’s more than just a loving parent—she’s a strong, hardworking woman who has done everything she can to support our family. As a fish vendor and a Barangay Nutrition Scholar (BNS), she works tirelessly every day, balancing her responsibilities to the community with her dedication to us, her children.
I’ve seen her wake up early in the morning to prepare for work, no matter how tired she might be. Her hands may be worn from labor, but they’ve never stopped comforting, guiding, and supporting us. Despite the challenges she faces, she never lets us see her give up. Her strength is quiet, but powerful, and her love is shown not just through words, but through every sacrifice she makes.
My mother has taught me resilience, compassion, and the value of hard work. She is the reason I stay grounded, and I will always be grateful for everything she has done—for being not just a mother, but a true hero in my life.
MY ATE
My Ate, Erica Enriquez, is someone I truly look up to. Like me, she’s a college student at Laguna University, and watching her balance her studies with responsibility and determination motivates me to do the same. She’s focused, driven, and always gives her best in everything she does.
Even though she has her own challenges, she still finds time to guide and support me. Whether it’s helping with schoolwork or giving advice, she never hesitates to lend a hand. Her dedication to our family and her goals reminds me of the kind of person I want to become. I’m proud to call her my sister and thankful for her constant presence in my life.
AND ME
I’m Erickson Enriquez, a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) student at Laguna University. I’ve always been passionate about technology and how it can be used to solve real-world problems. As a student, I’m focused on developing my skills in programming, systems analysis, and other areas of IT that will prepare me for the future.
I’m also someone who values time management and self-improvement. While I face challenges like getting easily distracted by noise, I continuously work on staying focused and disciplined. I’m proud to be part of Laguna University, and I strive to make the most out of my college journey—not just for myself, but also to make my family proud, especially with all the sacrifices they’ve made for me.
